DJ Humphries isn’t going anywhere. The Cardinals’ Pro Bowl left tackle extended his stay in Arizona until the 2025 season. Humphreys is entering the final year of a three-year, $45 million extension in 2020 that was supposed to pay him a base salary of $14 million. Terms of the new deal were not disclosed.

Humphreys has come a long way since the beginning of his NFL career. The 24th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the former Florida Gators had been inactive during his rookie season as Arizona entered the NFC championship game. He started making an impact in 2016, starting 13 times at right tackle.

Injuries hampered Humphreys’ minutes in 2017 and 2018. He has rebounded sharply, starting 47 straight games from 2019-21. He made his first Pro Bowl last season after helping the Cardinals end a six-year playoff drought.
