Moments of the night: The man is here again
Becky Lynch appeared at the top of the show to promote, revealing her shoulders were separated during SummerSlam’s Raw women’s title fight.
Becky Lynch thanks Bianca Bellaire and begins her SummerSlam comeback story
Becky Lynch started Monday night’s Raw after her SummerSlam showdown with WWE’s Bianca Belair, sharing a thrilling share of the Raw Women’s Champion moment.
What made this segment the moment of the night, however, was Becky explaining how she lost her way over the past year as Big Time Becks — and now she’s basically going to be “the man” again.
This is a smart and creative decision made by Triple H.
Lynch, one of the most popular members of the list, has been as fun as Becky over the past year, but has never meant much.
Fans want to cheer for one of their favorites. Now they can.
Hopefully she’ll be back in time to win next year’s Rumble.
Game of the night: AJ Styles vs. Mustafa Ali with the Miz
I was delighted that Mustafa Ali had the opportunity to remind everyone of his in-ring prowess. Hopefully Ricochet gets a similar treatment on SmackDown this week.
In addition, AJ Styles is also on fire. This guy is disrupting the innovative offense like no one cares.
These are the games people want to watch on Monday.
The first Raw for Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY is done perfectly as a faction.
They looked strong at the top of the show, attacked Becky Lynch in the backstage, and were seen as confident badass in the backstage segment. IYO’s first game showed her offense while also protecting her, and Dakota gave Triple H a slight nod.
This is a very positive start for the group.
Despite the loss, Montezford was an absolute superstar against Rollins while Ciampa came out of Raw in the championship game.
It’s important to make the middle card feel special. This is how people grow their fan base and improve their cards.
More, please, Triple H.
