Mikel Arteta request his arsenal The squad rubbed their palms together in an attempt to get “everyone energized”.
The premiere took place in London on Tuesday night, with the first three episodes set to air on Thursday.
But clips have been shared online, with one showing Arteta wasn’t lying when he said he had some “crazy ideas”.
Ahead of a visit to Leicester City in October, Arteta encouraged his players to do something different while standing in a circle in the away dressing room at the King Power Stadium.
“We’re going to do something, guys,” Arteta said.
“We’re going to bring all the energy in this room together. If I tell you I want you to start with this (rub your palms). I want you to close your eyes and I’ll tell you what happens in the game.
“Then you’re going to grab each other’s hands and we’re going to create energy in the bubble and play the fuck out there [pointing towards the pitch]. Close your eyes. “
While it was an unusual approach, it seemed to work as Arsenal won 2-0 thanks to goals from Gabriel Magallus and Emile Smith Rowe in the first 20 minutes.

Afterwards, the routine was the talk of the city in the dressing room and ended up being joked – and Arteta saw the funny side too.
“You win the game, it works. You don’t win, that doesn’t work. Like everything.
“Yes, the players responded to it. Then I had to hear them joking, but in the moment it helped, they didn’t expect it.”

Defender Cedric Suarez said the idea was to “create some chaos during training” – although it didn’t work out as Arsenal were drawn 4-0.
Meanwhile, former captain Granit Xhaka described Arteta as “a positive freak” for his meticulous management approach.
