Kansas has not had a Democratic attorney general since 2011.

Kobach’s victory was a major conservative comeback following previous bids for Senate in 2020 and governorship in 2018. From 2011 to 2019, Kobach served as Kansas’ 31st Secretary of State. He and his wife Heather have five children.
