Tudor DixonBacked by former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, he won the Republican primary for governor and will face Democratic incumbent Gretchen Whitmer in the fall. Ms. Dixon defeated several other Republicans, including Ryan Kelly, who faced misdemeanor charges for rioting with the Capitol.

Attorney General Eric Schmidt Win the Senate Republican nomination — defeating 20 other Republicans, including scandal-plagued former Gov. Eric Gretens — and possibly in November to succeed retiring Senator Roy Blunt. It’s a relief for party officials worried that Gretens’ nomination will give Democrats a chance in an all-red seat.
