Jamie O’Hara believes the 25-year-old’s hopes of becoming a Red Devils regular have been dashed.

He says talk sports“It looked shocking. He was clearly on his feet. He looked back and thought he would be involved.

“Honestly, David de Gea was very good at Manchester United last season. He is the number one goalkeeper in the world and one of the best in the world.

“Dean Henderson has to accept that when David de Gea is there, he’s going to be a player.

“I don’t think he’s going to play for Manchester United anymore. That’s how it is now. When you do an interview like this, you’re going to come out and put your parent team on the list, and the fans of the coaching staff will never have a good impression of him. “

Henderson also said he had not spoken to new manager Eric Ten Hager before making the move.

The England international believes the Ten Witches will want to keep him once he sees his performance.

O’Hara continued: “The new manager will come in and have a look and say ‘it’s time to move on’. Maybe he’s done that interview because in the long run he’ll probably want to move on.

“He’s a top goalkeeper, by the way. He’s probably too good to be on the bench, but this is Manchester United.

“If you were part of this club, you wouldn’t be on the Manchester United list. Honestly, the only way for Dean Henderson to go to Manchester United is to go downhill.

“Sometimes players say things when they’re angry. We’ve all done it and lived to regret it.”

Henderson is one of 12 players signed by Forest since they were promoted to the Premier League.
