Variety, a Pittsburgh children’s charity, is trying to help children across the country who cannot speak or have difficulty speaking by providing iPad-based communication devices. CBS news anchors Debra Alfarone and David Begnaud spoke with Charlie LaVallee, CEO of Variety the Children’s Charity Pennsylvania and West Virginia chapters, and Sue Conroy, whose son does not speak and uses a communications device, about the program.
