England’s Jack Hunter-Spiffy has guaranteed at least a silver medal in para table tennis in the men’s 3-5 at the Commonwealth Games.

The 27-year-old Paralympic bronze medalist beat Isau Ogunkunle 11-4 13-11 11-9 in the semifinals.

He will face Nigeria’s Nasi Rusule in the gold medal match on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Wales’ Joshua Stacy also picked up a medal after beating England’s defending champion Ross Wilson to reach the Group 8-10 final.

England’s Soubelli, who won a team bronze medal at the Tokyo Paralympics and is in her third Commonwealth Games, will lose the women’s 3-5 bronze medal match in the semifinals on Saturday 11-6 11- Sonar Ben Patel of India. 6 11-6 vs Bhavina Patel of India.
