Pelosi-aligned PAC to spend $20 million in midterms to save House majority

The House Majority PAC, the largest outside group in the Democratic congressional campaign aligned with Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), will reportedly spend $19.9 million in 23 media markets in an attempt to salvage the party’s weak most.

number one report Through Axios, Pelosi’s super PAC will spend about $20 million trying to flood election night from September to November.

Campaign ads will reportedly tout party achievements that Democrats have few and far between and attack what they call “extremist” Republican opponents even as they try to pass their own radical bills.

House Majority PACs will use this as an attempt to boost House Democrats in the final months of the midterm cycle, where they are expected to lose their majority and give Republicans a 12-35-seat majority.

Axios noted that in addition to providing a final push for Democrats in the safe zone, the ad campaign will be a “lifeline” for all vulnerable Democrats.
