One of the new superhero shows released in recent years is Miraculous Tales Of Ladybug and Cat Noir, which has captivated young audiences worldwide.
Cat Noir is one of the main characters and has a cool costume that fans love to recreate in fan art.
Drawing Cat Noir is the best way to start drawing your art! This is the tutorial for you if you are one of those fans.
How to Draw A Cat Noir
We’ll start with this character’s cat hair and ears as we begin this guide to drawing Cat Noir.
This character has a cool costume, and we’re going to draw him while portraying him in a dynamic pose.
Her hair is long and wavy; you can draw it with many curved lines connecting and ending in sharp points.
This character, as the name suggests, has a cat theme in his costume, and to start this theme, we are also going to draw his costume’s cat ears.
Just use curved lines with spikes at the top for those ears over her hair. That’s all for this first step, and then we can move on to step 2!
In this second part of your Cat Noir drawing, we’ll draw his facial details along with the beginning of his body and arms. First, draw a rounded form with two halves for the front beneath her hair.
Inside this mask, draw a few small lines connecting on the left for his blinking eye, then draw the open eye on the right.
Underneath this mask, you can use some small lines for her nose and smiling mouth and then outline her face around her.
For her chest, we draw many curved lines close together to show the folds of her costume under her face.
Finally, bring your shoulder close to your head and insert your arm behind your back for this step.
Continuing with this tutorial on how to draw Cat Noir, let’s add the other arm and the beginning of his legs.
He is depicted holding his hand close to his face for the other arm. Please do your best to replicate the lines exactly as they appear in our reference image as best as possible.
Then you can draw her legs with gently curved lines.
The left leg is straight and extended, while the right one is bent backward, so his foot is not visible on that leg.
At this stage of your Cat Noir drawing, we will finish the shoe on the left before moving on to some final details in the next stage.
His shoes have quite a unique design, with some edges at the top that stick out a bit.
Then the shoe’s base is drawn with more curved and smooth lines, as shown in the reference image.
As mentioned in the previous step, we can’t see the foot on the other leg, so you can now move on to drawing the final details in the next step.
You’re almost ready to color your creation in the last step of this How to Draw Cat Noir guide, but before proceeding, you can complete the final details in this part.
We will add the ribbon-like part that extends from the stick he’s holding behind his back.
We can draw this with a long, wavy line extending from the side of his leg to make it appear as if he is descending from the solid piece of stick.
Then you can complete this step by adding some personal information!
Unlike Ladybug, her crime-fighting partner, Cat Noir has a rather dark and muted color scheme for her costume.
In our reference image, we used different shades of gray to add color variety to this design by Cat Noir.
You can use this as a guide if you want these exact colors for your image or choose your variations!
If you know what colors you want, you are also welcome to choose different artistic mediums and experiment with them to achieve that color choice.
